Sparring Gear


Like any other sport, there is certain equipment that needs to be purchased in order to fully participate in class.


Can you picture playing baseball without a hat, glove or bat? Hockey without ice skates, pads, puck and a stick? Or soccer without cleats, a ball and shin guards?


Well, for Taekwondo, the equipment we need is Taekwondo America Safety Gear for sparring (Sparring gear) for all Orange Belts and above (about 6-8 months after you start training).

How much is it?

The cost of the whole set is $180 + tax (not needed for the first 6-8 months). Payment plans available.

Can you afford not to go with us?


Lets put it this way - if you base your choice of martial arts training facilities on which one is the cheapest, we are not the school for you.

We firmly believe that our combination of full-time, professional instructors, beautiful facility with state-of-the-art training equipment and wide variety of programs to choose from makes us the areas premier choice for modern martial arts training.


Choosing a martial arts school is a decision that should not be taken lightly, and unlike a commodity such as milk, bread or gasoline, the last factor that should influence this important decision is price.


We recommend that you consider how well the instructors and staff interact with you and your child, the cleanliness and overall condition of the facility, quality and selection of training equipment, and variety of classes and flexibility of schedule before worrying about cost (or as we like to think of it, investment).

We make it easy for anyone to try our program! You and/or your child can train for one full week without any obligations. And as you get excited about our program and want to take it further there is just one simple step to follow.


Step 2:

Membership

(So you liked it and you want to train more and become an important part of our karate center and a member of a national organization? Great! Here is what’s next...)


One time enrollment:
One person: $179

2nd family member: $149

3rd+ family member: $109 each


Enrollment includes martial arts uniform, all patches and membership with Taekwondo America national organization. First family member also receives a Student Manual and our welcome package.


Monthly Tuition (Autopay) For Unlimited Classes:

One person: $169

2nd family member: $139

3rd+ family member: $109 each


Based on a 12 month membership with automatic renewal and automatic payments with a credit/debit card.



SAVE money with our bookkeeping discount:

12 month membership:

One person: $1788 (equals $149 per month)

2nd family member: $1428 (equals $119 per month)

3rd+ family member: $1188 each (equals $99 per month)

Testing / Belt Test for rank advancement:

Testing dues are not included in monthly tuition. Belt Test occurs every two months. While not mandatory, most students choose to test. All students are tested by a panel of Black Belt judges and upon passing they receive a new belt and a rank certificate issued by the Taekwondo America National Office.


Testing dues for Lil' Tigers, White through Probat. Black Belts:

1st and 2nd family member: $60 each

3rd+ family member: $30 each


Testing dues for Recommended and above Black Belts:

1st and 2nd family member: $120 each

3rd+ family member: $60 each


Should a student not pass testing, the student does not pay for next testings until they pass.



Sparring Gear:

Once a student has obtained the rank of Orange Belt and above (around 4-8 months), they will have to purchase a Taekwondo America co-branded sparring gear in order to fully participate in class - see column on the right.

Membership Cancelation:

We also understand that sometimes unexpected things happen in life and you may want to cancel your membership for some reason. We will cancel your membership within 30 days after receiving your written notice with a cancelation fee equal to one month tuition payment as specified in your membership.
